1959 |
The waerag factory was founded by Engineer Albin Zwach, in cooperation with a group of engineers for the purpose of designing and marketing ventilation systems for the paper industry. At the time, ventilations technology was traded like a stepchild of the paper manufacturers. Shortly thereafter the company moved to Traiskirchen where it built up its own manufactoring facilities. The waerag employees constructed the world`s first completely enclosed hood and the waerag "heat recovery towers" become distinctive marks for many paper factories throughout the world. |
